Hospital Donation
St Alban's Rector and Vestry, in keeping with our tradition of supporting outreach in our community, made a donation to Elbert Memorial Hospital Foundation's "Renovate a Room" campaign.

| A Rector's Office:
St Alban's senior warden Allen Nicas visits with Rector Denni. Her office has been transformed over the past six months by gifts and purchases. Come and see. Denni has office hours on Mondays and Wednesdays. The parish administrator's office (Mary the Verger) is right next door and she is in most mornings.

Elberton parish has a new Rector
|
|
Bishop Alexander ordained the Rev. Dr. Denise Shepherd Moss to the priesthood on Saturday, January 6th at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Elberton. Shown here with her husband the Rev. David Moss, Denni Moss now serves as rector of St. Alban's as well as the Church of the Mediator, Washington.

Elberton parish hosts priest ordination
|
|
Ordained a deacon in 2004, Moss received a bachelor's degree and a master of divinity from Mercer University, Atlanta, before earning a doctor of ministry in 2005 from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary, Evanston, Ill. She recently served as an assistant at St. Timothy's, Calhoun, and was chaplain for Georgia State and Georgia Tech, as well as for Covenant Community in Atlanta. She is married to the Rev. David Moss, a priest of the diocese.
Bishop Alexander will ordain the Rev. Dr. Denise Shepherd Moss to the priesthood at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6 at St. Alban's Church, Elberton. After her ordination, Moss will serve as rector of St. Alban's and Church of the Mediator, Washington.
